Viganj is located 8 km west from Orebic , in a large bay, west of promontory St. Liberan.

History of Viganj is long and rich so you can see numerous archaeological artefacts , monuments and sites . Peljesac peninsula is located at the south of Croatia, close to town Dubrovnik.

By geographical and natural characteristics it is similar to Dalmatian islands in the region - Hvar and Korcula, but the fact that it is connected to the mainland makes it easily accessible and better connected with Dubrovnik and its hinterland.

Orebic is located 8 km from Viganj. It lies beneath the mountain St. Elijah which has the highest peak on Peljesac peninsula. Orebic is the largest settlement on Peljesac and tourist center of the peninsula.
